Community Small Grants

Council offers Small Grant to all local clubs and non profit organisations, these grants are limited to $2,500.
The grants are made available annually in September / October.

The following organisations were successful for 2008/09

Swimming Association of King Island - Locking system for pool - $1,673.10
Parents and Friends, KIDHS - Grade 10 Leavers Ball -  $500
Naracoopa Progress Association - Playground equipment - $2,500
King Island Pony Club - Water Jump - $2,000
King Island Band Support Group Inc - Conductor Training - $880
King Island Clay Target Association - Purchase of new equipment - $2,500
King Island Childcare and Early Learning Centre - Accreditation - $2,500
King Island Boat Club - Stonehaven Cup - $2,500
Anglican Parish of King Island - Car Park Resealing - $2,500
