King Island Airport

The King Island Council owns and operates the airport on King Island. There is currently three commercial airlines flying to the Island, TASAIR, King Island Airlines and Regional Express (REX).

Privately owned planes are welcome to land at the King Island Airport. Fees do apply for all planes landing on the Island. Annual Licences are available for regular local users of the Airport. For more information please check the fees and charges section.

Annual fees apply to car hire companies and coaches who use the airport car spaces on a regular basis.

Landing Charges for aircraft landing at aerodrome, levied on a per tone basis, based on aircraft's maximum take-off weight as shown in the Australian Aircraft Register

King Island Aero Club $288.00
Single Engine Aircraft $227.00
Twin Engine Aircraft $345.00
Jet Aircraft $463.00
Crop Duster (or similar) $360.00

Fuel for Privatley Owned Planes
Prior to your departure to King Island you should make arrangements if required for refuling by contatacting either Mr David Brewster on 0428 621880 or Mr Jed Weitjens on 0429 481 320.
